This is a video made by Pogo, it is completely made from the original Alice in Wonderland, and is pretty cool in my opinion. All of the sounds in this song are actually in the movie, and they just chopped it up to make a catchy beat, while Alice sings something that you cant really understand lol. I think that Pogo was trying to prove that you can make music out of anything, if its possible to make a beat like this from an old Disney movie you could make something incredible if you actually try. If I was more of a music buff and could play an instrument, this would motivate me to try and make some cool, unique forms of music.
W9: I agree that this video is cool. Different but cool none the less. I wish I was musically inclined so that I could be more talented in that field. Music really truely can be made out of anything you want. My little four year old brother loves the song a pool noodle makes when it hits our pool. If I was able to capture that noise and make it the steady beat in a song I think it would be so original. Basically my point to saying that was I agree on music is anything and everything.

I chose to have a quote this week because of recent events in our government and people opinions. I know I will be taking this quote to heart because I know personally I need to work on myself in this aspect.
The quote is:
If you don’t like something change it; if you can’t change it, change the way you think about it. -Mary Engelbreit
To me this quote is being realistic. It is showing how we as people need to accept the fact that we are not in control of everything. Today we as Americans especially live in a world where everything is handed to us right away. We are sadly becoming such a spoiled culture that we really don’t think about something untill it doesn’t go our way. Mary is saying that change is ineviatble it’s how you deal with it. So The best way to take change is don’t be negative. Turn the negative energy in a positive direction versus dwelling on not being able to change the change.
I think the person who took this photo has a twisted sense of humor that quite frankly is hillarious! This person intended this photo to be a light hearted joke but used a tender subject, Jesus Christ. I’m sure this picture offended some people whether it intended to or not. Everyone knows how to do the Y-M-C-A so this can relate to many people, especially trouble maker guys! I hope you guys like this picture as much as I did. It made my day a little bit funnier!

I was a tad bit offended by this picture. I mean my religion is a very touchy subject. Although it was a tad offensive. I looked over the picture and had a tiny chuckle. I know that I have some friends who might do this as a joke.. So I guess it’s alright. I just have to be in the right state of mind to look at this picture
Star Wars created my George Lucas is an epic of inner glactic adventure. There is several videos, 6 I believe. In this video clip it’s not the actual video, but Star Wars from an adorable 3 year old’s perspective. She tries to explain everything to the easiest ability for people to understand. The cutest part is how she refers to things like an outdoor store as a garage sale. I think that having children watch classic movies versus akward stuff now is sweet and personally makes me happy. :)
By putting a snarky message on a business office supply, the creators of this product appeal to stressed out, over worked, and disastisfied employees. Although the folders initially seem witty (new take on an old product) and/or whimsical (fun, bright colors), the message the folders send (that you are unhappy that you have to deal with paperwork—or “to do” anything) is an essentially negative one. I can’t help but think that having these folders in your office place wouldn’t help you make light of a bad situation; rather, it seems they’d subtly reinforce (potentially daily!) just how bad your situation is.
W6: I think that having something negative on your folders would make the situation worse. No one wants to constantly be reminded of how crumy work is. I don’t know how you would fix the problem, but that is lame.
Justin Timberlake helped with a program called “Hope for Haiti” and he chose this song to sing. People could call in a donate as much money as they saw fit to send. I think the point of chosing this song is to show people that we can all be as one. Everyone has problems of course some worse than others, but in the end we need to all stick together. God didn’t create us to give someone in need the cold shoulder. I found the song appropriate and very fitting to the situation.
This video is very touching. It made me cry.I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days saints, also known as Mormon. I would like to define a few words:
Wards: Wards are congregations that are divided into groups of 250- 500 people. Every Sunday depending on where people live, they will go to the location closest to them. Usually, the same lesson is taught on the same day in every congregation during Sunday School. Heavenly father: This means God.
Anyways, this isn’t a conversion onto Christ lesson ;) I posted this video because of the message behind it, which is charity. I’m not really a cheerleader type (I’m the antigen) but seeing Stephanie in her wheelchair participating in a vigorous sport where healthy, beautiful bodies are emphasized, warms my heart enough to want to join her! It made me cry to think about how she only has one year to live. Can you imagine that verdict? In a world where perfection is an emphasis, Stephanie stands out beautifully against the crowd. I know that God loves her. I believe that God loves these precious individuals the most. In today’s world, it is easy to get absorbed in ourselves, and forget about others in the hustle and bustle of daily life. However, reaching out to people like Stephanie will bring in so much joy in our lives. I know this for a fact. As I have let go of the selfishness in my life, by helping those in need; I have found more happiness! Unconditional happiness is obtainable. It’s about reaching out and forgetting ourselves.
Wow, I feel touched. Ya, that’s the best word for it. This was a very kind and sweet video. I wish there was a follow up on her life, and where she is etc. Thank you though for posting this is makes me almost reevaluate myself, and how I treat others. I always need to be accepting everyone because it’s what God wants and created us to do. Wonderful and very inspiring.

Only the young die good.- Oliver Herford
This week my tumblr consists of a quote by Oliver Herford. I know the quote is short, but it makes it point. The way I interuptred Oliver writing this is he was saying being young is having innocence. You are good untill people, experience, and life in general turn you bad. After going through these different changes in life you become bad. Not nessacarily BAD, but you aren’t as naive and innocent as you once were. That’s what I believe his quote means.
This is a video from Youtube. The dance crew is JabbawokkeeZ from Americas Best Dance Crew. The first dance is All that jazz. The second dance is Funkytown and the third dance is The red pill.
This video is awesome. It is a compilation of three of their dances. This was one of my favorite shows because I love to dance. All of the performers on the show were so incredibly talented. Jabbawokeez were my favorite from that season. Check out the break dancing in the second show..it is AMAZING!!
I would love to point out how much I adore the Jabbawokeez! I think it would be killer to learn a dance from them! So I want to let you know how obsessed I am with this video. From a personal persepcetive it makes me so happy, and from a dancer perspective it makes me enjoy it even more. Perfect video.
I know everyone watches the superbowl, or well I hope they watch it at least for the commericals. My favorite of the superbowl yesterday (where the saints won!!!!!!) is this hilarious commerical of a young boy being protective over two important things in his life. His mama and of course his Dorittos! The creators of this humours little commerical knew exactly who to target, EVERYONE. How could someone not find it funny for a little child to smack his mothers boyfriend?! Did anyone else have a personal favorite commerical?!
